Sentinel aims to grow parking facility at Leeds Bradford airport

IAPA member Sentinel, which provides a highly rated park-and-ride service for Leeds Bradford airport, has made an application to increase its permanent car parking capacity to more than 3,000 spaces.

The company has applied to convert 814 spaces that already have temporary planning permission at its secure car parking site located less than one mile from Leeds Bradford Airport.

The development will allow Sentinel to create eight new full-time jobs during peak periods to support its popular park-and-ride service, which is ranked at number one in the airport parking category of independent review service Trustpilot.

Ed Hayes, managing director at Sentinel says: “By offering a very high standard of service we have been able to grow our park-and-ride service to become the biggest off-site parking provider at Leeds Bradford airport.

"Since the temporary permissions were granted, all 814 spaces have been used to capacity during peak periods. We have applied to make the spaces permanent so that we can continue to satisfy this demand for our efficient and customer focused service. We believe we offer the best airport parking experience in the UK and Trustpilot reviewers would seem to agree with us!"

Sentinel’s parking facility carries the Park Mark: Safer Parking Award, which is a Police Crime Prevention Initiative to ensure car parks are properly managed and maintained.
