About IAPA
Representing over 45,000
car parking spaces in the UK //
The Independent Airport Parking Association (IAPA) is the trade association representing the UK’s leading park-and-ride and meet-and-greet operators.
Our purpose is to raise standards in the airport parking services industry so that customers can book airport parking with confidence.
We also seek to ensure that the role of the independent airport parking industry is fully understood and properly reflected in the development plans for UK airports and their associated surface access strategies and, more broadly, that the industry's voice is heard in policy debates of importance to our members.
IAPA members own and operate car parks with more than 30,000 airport parking spaces, parking around one million cars every year.
Alongside their own parking services, some IAPA members will also act as consolidators and sell parking services provided by carefully selected operators across the UK.
Badge of confidence

IAPA members guarantee to park your car in a secure facility that is authorised for airport parking and all IAPA members carry appropriate insurance cover for both you and your car.
Where IAPA members sell parking services provided by other operators, they will clearly display the details of that operator and will only work with companies that use secure facilities that are authorised for airport parking.
History

The organisation was established in 2002 as IAPRA, initially to represent airport park-and-ride companies. It was renamed IAPA in 2011 to include the growing meet-and-greet segment of the market.
